I've just signed up and got assigned the green plan. Have to say the points allowance seems quite generous so far.

I lost 2 stone last year doing the fast800, but have gained almost 1 back and just cant get my head back in the game...if I went off at it just led me to throwing in the towel and binging so I need to step away! I'm hoping to take what I've learned with me though, avoiding insulin spikes to keep hunger at bay, and white carbs and eating in a 14:10 hour window which comes naturally now.

I signed up yesterday and have spent the day and this morning finding my way around andinputting various foods to see the points allowance. Really impressed by the app so far, loving the videos and the audio for activity all included.

Anyone fancy a thread for chatting about it? I'm giving it a month initially (signed up for a free month) but will definitely continue if I'm consistently losing even small amounts. Ready for something a bit more gentle! 11stone is my first target, I'm currently 12st 4.

Cauliflower is amazing.. I'm keeping some roasted in the fridge for snacks. Weight loss is slow indeed which is frustrating but moving in the right direction.

I had a bittersweet moment yesterday, I'd been away overnight and did loads of exercise (kayak) and ate very sensibly indeed. Got home and weighed, saw 81kg pop up and my heart surged. I've been consistently around 85 for ages. I was thinking, wow this is great but I stepped on again & saw 82, then 83.. I changed the batteries and back up to 84.5 😭.. but 84 this morning so I'm trying to count my blessings! Just painful to realize how much of my life & happiness is controlled by that number. I'm still determined to stick to sensible if slow loss!

How's everyone doing?

Anyone super hungry? All the time? Finding it easy during the week but harder at weekends when going out and about.

And the temptation of wine uses up all the extra weekly points

PositiveLife · 13/06/2021 21:30

Definitely agree it's much easier during the week.

Anyone know how to add a new food on the app? I had something today that wasn't in the inbuilt list and couldn't see how to add a new one - ended up selecting the Tesco version instead just to log it.

Also how do the activity points work? Is that extra points for the day you do it? I only ask because today it looks like I've gone over my allowance (weeklies is at - 6 now) but the extras were because of having a really active weekend and needing extra calories

applespearslemons · 14/06/2021 08:36

@PositiveLife

I do what you do. Just select the closest match

You can add something in by inputting all the nutritional info. I had some
M&S sushi abs worked out the points value using the calculator function

Lost 3 pounds this week. This includes going out for dinner on Friday evening , having a few very large glasses of wine. Was careful the rest of the week and weekend

PositiveLife · 14/06/2021 08:49

Blush I can't see a calculator bit

I've lost 1lb this week. Have done loads of exercise and been good with food too. I've found in the past I tend to drop really slowly for a while then have a sudden drop so I was kind of expecting very little this week.

applespearslemons · 14/06/2021 16:35

Tap as if you're going to enter some food

Then beneath the search box yo can scroll across and see quick add and calculator

Well done on the loss. I often find that it takes me two weeks to lose weight. Seasoned dieter here

PositiveLife · 14/06/2021 21:50

Thank you! I've found it Grin

Bluesheep8 · 22/06/2021 10:31

Please could I ask how you got a free month?

CarrotVan · 30/06/2021 07:47

I started yesterday. And DH is on it too.

13.3 aiming for 10.0

Bread and crisps are my challenge!

Yesterday was

B: granola, fat free yoghurt, banana and apple
L: Tomato and lentil soup with wholemeal bread
D: chicken cacciatore with rice
S: two apples

Had enough points left for a glass of wine and somehow accumulated 11 fit points

Rejoined a couple of weeks ago. Have used WW before and lost 3 stone on blue plan but didn’t manage to keep it off sadly. This time was given the green plan and knew straight away it wasn’t the right plan for me - today I’ve decided to stick to what I know and swap back to blue!

At least 3/4 stone to lose and have been finally falling in love with the gym and Zumba so feel more dedicated than ever!

Wotsitsarecheesy · 20/09/2021 21:23

How is everyone doing? I'm still going (7 months in) and have lost 3.5 stone in that time. Just taking it steadily and not worrying too much really. I'm almost at my target weight (woohoo!) but having just about got there, I think I still need to lose another half a stone. But having a BMI of 23.something is a great feeling Grin (it was over 31 when I started). I've just stuck with purple throughout, and it's been fine. Really hoping it stays off, but I dont see why it wouldn't really. Ever the optimist, me!

blueplan · 20/09/2021 21:47

So pleased that you have done so well wotsits. I did WW many years ago and lost a good amount of weight. Sadly, a combination of factors contributed to me putting it all back onSad. So, in the summer I decided to get back to it. I have a huge amount to lose - more than some people on this thread actually weigh! Unfortunately an accident a few years ago has affected my mobility which limits my ability to exercise this time round. Nevertheless, I've lost almost 12 pounds. It is slow going but at least it's going!

Wotsitsarecheesy · 21/09/2021 12:50

I'm all for slow going! It seems more sustainable that way, to me. Sorry to hear you did so well, then it went back on. But life is like that sometimes. Stuff happens. Good to hear you are already doing well again though.

I've had time on crutches recently, and found some great seated workouts on youtube - seated yoga, pilates and cardio. Don't know if your mobility issues allow you to do that sort of thing?

MercuryRising · 05/10/2021 22:24

I have just started back on WW. I currently weight 12.9 and am aiming to weigh 11.7 before Christmas.

I'm on the green plan. Hoping posting on here will help keep me focused.

Wotsitsarecheesy · 08/10/2021 23:11

Good for you, MercuryRising. I actually hit my target weight last week (10 1/2 stone), but have deciced to go for a BMI of around 22, which means another half a stone. Will be great if I can get under 10st before Christmas too :) I am still definitely carrying too much - I just didn't want to set a target before that was so ambitious I gave up. Now I'm a healthy weight, doing it half a stone at a time seems manageable.
