I'm a vegetarian and I've just (re)started weight watchers. Thought this could be a place to share recipes, progress etc. 6lb lost, only 3 stone to go ConfusedThanks

Oh, I’m veggie & have always thought it’d be hard doing WW or similar. Are there lots of options?

feverbee · 16/09/2018 10:23

@KatyaZamolodchikova there are! I think the trick is being organised and planning in advance. That's what I've found anyway Smile

Hmm, not exactly my string point when it comes to food! I might have a look into it though. How much does the WW thing cost?

feverbee · 16/09/2018 18:15

@KatyaZamolodchikova it's around £20 p/m, not 100% certain but check out the website. They often have special offers on.

I started today so not much help when it comes to recipes! Will hopefully come up with some ideas over next few days. I can see me eating a lot of eggs. I'm not even going to think about how much I have to lose, I'm just going to get started.

winomummy · 21/09/2018 21:45

Hi, I'm a WW coach. If you have the app you can search for WW veggie recipes. Also the WW veggie cook book is fab! I have it and I'm not veggie 😂

lifechangesforever · 26/09/2018 16:10

Me! I've just joined this afternoon, using the online plan.

Thehop · 02/10/2018 09:51

Yes me! I’m 6 days in, online and group and actually surprised by how much I’m enjoying it!

sunshinejourney · 02/10/2018 09:55

I'm veggie. I was vegan, but eggs being free points changed me back to veggie! Doing it since Jan, over 50 pounds dropped. I think flex is a better plan for veggie people than previous incarnations.

Thehop · 02/10/2018 09:59

50lb?! That’s amazing sunshinejourney well done!

Flippetydip · 03/10/2018 16:16

Yes - me - although in reality I'm pescatarian which helps a bit. I don't have a huge amount to lose really but realised I was getting into very unhealthy habits of not eating all day and then eating crap, not eating enough veg (despite being veggie!) etc etc. I have 9lbs to get to where I would be happy with but more than that I wanted to get some element of "healthy eating" back.

I've been doing it a week (nearly) and am eating a LOT of eggs! As in at least 3 a day - is that bad?

sunshine - WOW! You are doing amazingly!

And yes I second the searching for vegetarian recipes on the app/website. There are some really nice ones. I made a very passable spicy cauliflower and lentil soup the other day.

Yes I am about to start the WW veggie plan but just can't seem to get motivated. I really hate cooking so end up eating rubbish ready meals and spend 2/3 hours driving, so am tired all the time. I am stuck in a cycle of trying to start but then never quite doing it. Any tips on how to get motivated please?

confuzzled42 · 13/10/2018 13:46

golden - pay! That always motivates me - if I’ve parted with money!

dobby2001 · 14/10/2018 23:22

Hi, the veggie cookbook is in the sale if this helps. £5 for the following week if you buy at meetings - if you are an online member you can visit a meeting to purchase.
