weightwatchers in the 80s

During the 1980s I joined weight watchers and did very well. The plan at the time if I remember correctly was - 4 bread, 4 protein, 2 fat, 2 milk and 3 fruit, also 2 floaters and spare calories for treats, Over the years this has been the only diet that worked for me. Does anyone else remember this diet and have I recalled the amounts correctly?.

My mum did that diet and I followed it too a few years later and it worked for me. I think my mum said it was 3 fat but otherwise the amounts were the same as you've said.
