I'm just starting (tried last week but I was starving and gave up!)

I have about a stone to lose after having my son 19 weeks ago.

I'm finding healthy eating really difficult for some reason [shame] I just seem to end up eating biscuits/sweets and having a glass of wine/cider Sad

I do the weekly shop tomorrow so no alcohol or sweet things will be going in my trolley!!

Will try to remember to update with my progress - maybe that will keep us motivated!

I am doing ww online. I only had a stone to lose and have least half of it in a month Smile . Once it starts working its motivating.

I think you need to make sure that you stock up with the right stuff. My weeklies I use for wine/ meals out.

I'm thinking of doing this so would be grateful for any tips for good evening meals etc. Have a 3 year old and a 6 week old baby so was not sure about the practicalities as don't have loads of time to cout calories and prep meals

I did before I fell pregnant, lost nearly 2 stone. I found the app really useful when shopping, and planning meals.being able to look up the points in something quickly helps you decide if you really want it or not - for me everything was compared to a curly wurly (3 points), was it worth more or less to me than the curly wurly I wouldn't be able to have after dinner if I are it.

I will be going back to it once baby arrives to get back to my target weight

Ami Amy meal that is simple, plain food works ime!

Sometimes you have to cut down the amounts a bit but I've basically been eating the same as the rest of the family.

It might depend how you do it though - I'm not really snacking at all, I prefer it that way because it means you are only hungry b4 mealtimes rather than all the time. I also save points by having fruit for breakfast but a lot of people say they could not cope with doing that.

So just aim for a portion of lean protein, a portion of carbs then salad/ veg.

Thanks that sounds good, think I'm going to register at start of May so I can have a guilt free Easter. Good luck! x

I'm doing it too! Have a stone or so to lose after #2 was born 12 weeks ago. I did it last year in the run up to my wedding and found that it really worked (nothing like a wedding dress to squeeze into for motivation), but I'm finding it a lot harder to stick to this time around. What has definitely helped with the "healthy eating" side of things is getting a weekly fruit and veg box delivered. Reasonably priced and I always have fresh yummies to concoct something nutritious with. Doesn't stop the chocolate consumption once DCs are in bed though...Confused
