What do I need to do on my mini trampoline?

Apart from the obvious

should I just bounce? Or twist? And with the arms? And for how long?

Have done 3 lots of 5 mins tonight. It hurts the calves, but I want to predominantly work the arse.

Cheers for advice.

just enjoy and think positive (not fat arse but tone+++ed behind), if you just have fun you will do it for longer!

Ooh I did enjoy it, will be great to do in the eves when normally sitting down. Can tell I did something as legs feel stiff. I can't wait to get back on it!

I have now started to walk in the evening when DH watches TV and DD is in bed. Would love to have company but difficult to find s.o..

I agree with Baba - far more likely to stick at exercise if you are enjoying it. We have a larger trampoline in the garden that we bought for DC but I probably use it as much as they do - it is strangely addictive tho I'm not sure what the neighbours make of a 30+ woman bouncing around

BarefootShirl - what do you do on your trampoline? Just bounce? And how long for?

Is trampolining good for burning calories?

BarefootShirl · 05/06/2010 11:30

When I first started I specialised in falling over most of the time but now I generally just bounce for, say, 10-15 mins whenever I get a chance. Not sure about the calories but any reasonably vigorous exercise must be doing something and it certainly leaves me feeling like I've done a workout! Don't think I'll do it right now though as I've just been in the garden with DC and the neighbours do NOT need to see me bouncing up and down in just my bikini bottoms

What - one over each boob?

DrSpechemin · 05/06/2010 12:51

right - i'm going to start doing 5-10 mins every day and see how I get on.

my neighbours would never look over the fence again if they just saw me trampoling in my bikini bottoms
