Cutting out Carbs ...

What do you eat to replace bread ? I love my bread and don't eat a huge amount & if I do I eat Nimble or the Light Danish bread. But, I'm having trouble losing weight and I always look so bloated.
So, I'm going to limit/ cur out carbs to see if that helps.

I'm rubbish at meal planning so have no idea what to eat

Hi Tillyboo, if you really feel you need bread you can buy low carb bread. However, really bread isn't low carb. What meal do you normally have bread for? Do you have toast in the mornings? Or sandwiches? etc.

I have completely cut out bread and to be honest when i think about how bloated and sluggish I was, that puts me off wanting any so I don't really miss it.

Breakfasts I have cereal ona weekday or maybe eggs and bacon on a weekend.

Lunches are salad, with tuna, turkey, mayo, cheese, bacon or a combination of. Or soup, or left over dinner from the night before.

Th most difficult thing is whwen you are out and about and the only lunch option is a sandwich. M&S Food can be good for this thoughas they have other options.

I haven't eaten bread for 2 months. I couldn't face it as my stomach is so much flatter now and I know it would be up like a balloon if I ate bread.

You do get used to not having it - you have to stop thinking like you are being deprived of it and learn to enjoy somehing else instead.

What about Ryvita Crackerbreads? Are they classed as carbs?

have all but given up bread

the bread I do is is 'good' bread, ie organic, or rusticy or whatever. NOT thick cut whitre processed loaf 9my staple diet before)

stomach flatter etc etc

I dont miss it! I eat oatcakes, cereal, teensy amount of pasta. its not hard when you get used to it.
