Hi all...
After a long history of weight watchers, I decided enough was enough. Yes, it worked. Yes, I got slimmer. But, the real problem is that I am a compulsive eater. So, I denied myself everything I loved, but then would binge like mad when I gave myself permission to have something 'naughty'.
I've read a couple of books...Beyond Chocolate has been my favourite so far, and it makes sense...eat what you want, when you you are hungry, STOP eating when you aren't hungry anymore. It seems to be working...I don't think about food all the time, I got rid of my scale, and I eat chocolate EVERY single day. My clothes actually feel like they fit better! I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has ditched the diet, and is trying anything different with good results? It would be nice to talk to others who got fed up with the whole diet/binge cycle.
