I am looking for inspiration for low cal lunches....I tend to just think "something" and salad which I get bored of and am ravenous by 2.30. I dont eat meat, dont mind fish (not shellfish) and am happy to eat quorn etc. There is a microwave but no other cooking facilities - please can someone inspire me

Oh I try to think of nutricious healthy lunches to take to work all the time, I usually take one of the following:

Soup
Prawn Salad
Various salads with cous cous
Sometimes I take in a pack of wraps and have humous and spinach and cherry toms in it
Sometimes beans on toast, sometimes a sarni or dinner left overs.

With a microwave at work you could do small jacket potato with tuna, beans etc

If you have a microwave you can have a bowl of home made soup. Take to work in a coffee jar. Also fruit to follow or for the 2.30 low.

I used to keep a box of cereal at work for days when I forgot to bring packed lunch. Made a change, quick and easy, very filling.

I tend to have a lot of soup at lunchtimes. You can make so many different varities and it is filling too.

I have soup too, v filling, am veggie and tend to buy them ratherthan home make!
M&s do a nice big (600g) pot of fresh minestrone and a supergreen soup which is not so nice but incredibly wholesome and both about 250 cals

other options - small can of sweetcorn, 60g light feta and a huge salad with balsamic vinegar, 4 ww pts, so prob about 250 cals also
