Can anyone recommemd any snacks i can have whilst bf as the peanut m&ms and cake aren't doing me any good and im looking pregnant again when the only bun in my oven is that of the chocolate variety!!!!

Poor you, I remember it was really hard work - my DS2 gave up breastfeeding at 4 months (I couldn't keep up with him!). However, I found that there were a few things that were really good energy boosters...

cashew nuts & brazil nuts - just a few in a bowl nearby where you sit. Brazil nuts are good for your mood and cashew nuts are good for your skin - result!

granola bars - I bought some from Sainsburys. Also Jordans fruesli bars. I particularly like the blueberry ones. Yum.

I also devoured lots of apples. Not very exciting but....

And for the times when only chocolate will do.... As a result of DS1 being allergic to dairy products, I have discovered Kallo rice cake squares covered in dark chocolate. They have, I think, 50 calories less than a choc digestive. I found them in our Sainsbury's "free from" aisle.
