Sorry I know this this is the "weigh loss club" but it seems the best place to stick it.

How do you put on weight healthily when you don't have a huge appetite?

I'm 5ft and when I was pg with DS1 (9yrs ago!) I when from 7st to 12st . When I was 7st I was like a stick, and looked really unhealthy (looking back at the photos of me I'm at how I looked.

Took 3yrs to get down to 9st.........then fell pg again.

Got back to 9st almost straight away.

Then I started working nights and the weight literally fell off me - I went from a size 14/16 to a size 8/10 in the space of about 6 months and promptly fell pg again - and kept losing weight for the first 20 weeks or so of pregnancy!

Since DS3 was born (2 1/2yrs ago) I seemed to have "levelled out" at around 8st 7/8lb but in the last few months the weight has gone down again, I'm closer to 8st (or at least was a few weeks ago befor ethe battery went in my bathroom scales), and my size 8's need hoiking up all the time and despite the amount of shite I've eaten over Christmas only seem to be getting looser (loser?? arghh).

According to the NHS BMI calculator I have a healthy BMI of 21.5..........but I'm not convinced by it given that it reckons that 7st I would still be (just) within the healthy BMI range - and I certainly wasn't looking very healthy (it feels like too long ago to remember whether I felt it

So basically - I want to put on 1/2 to 3/4 stone (perhaps more - not knowing exactly how much I weigh now) - to get back to around 8 3/4 stone.........

HELP!(please)

Hi

I think I little trip to the docs to get some bloods done should be your first port of call, just to check everything is OK - I'd say this to anyone who loses weight without trying and to anyone gaining lots of weight.

Then if everything is OK your going to have to up your cals - what is you diet like at the moment? do you eat much and of what types of food?

I sure it's just a bad being underweight as overweight so if we can help I'm sure we will

lol Battery - if I could take some of yours for you I would.

Madusa - I already do that

Style - you reckon I should get my bloods done

I am 5ft and weigh 7st something (I think, my scales have broken) but all my clothes are getting too tight... I don't appear to have put on weight but my tummy is spreading. I don't have much of an appetite but eat too much crap, think I thought I wouldn't ever put on weight.
