my mum said several peoplw who have dropped a few pounds lately say the wii fit helped.

Is it worth buying? Already have wii.

And do you have to buy different games? what does it do?

Hi Disenchanted, we were talking about getting a wii, so will be watching this thread with interest.

Thanks for starting the diet thread, will be checking in there later!

no problem, Im glad there are so many people there, less likely to die out than if there was just 3 of us

I have a Wii Fit and lost about 5lbs in about 6 weeks before I went on holiday and then I started back at work after maternity leave and I hardly used it again.

Now I have dug it out again as I am determined to get fit again, I may get the Wii Fit Plus as the flaws I found in the old one seem to have been changed in the newer version. It works for me as long as you have time to use it - and there is a free step exercise where you can just step on and off the board for 20 mins and watch telly at the same time - perfect!

I have been using wii fit plus for about 11 days now. I do 30 minutes a day (all I can spare) which consists of 10 minutes yoga and muscle training and then a 20 min. jog. I think its great! I have NEVER jogged before and although jogging on the spot isn't the same as getting out and doing it I still end up sweaty and feel like I have achieved something. I havn't started losing any weight yet but I'm doing it more to get toned and increase my stamina.

I would say it is a very easy way to get into exercise and if you don't have much time to exercise its perfect as its right in your living room!
