Get some weightwatchers recipe books - they are great! Good for the entire family too as long as they are getting the calories they need for growth from other meals.
Tomato and bacon pasta is fab and very low fat - check it out.

Oo good to see you've started charlotte
Which diet have you decided to try? I do think, at this time of year especially, a low cal diet is going to absolutely knacker you with 2 young children and I can see it would be easy to fall off the wagon. Would you consider low carb instead?

i think i really need to reduce my carbs....... i eat too many so i have stolen an idea from another thread on here and just not have any after lunch.
I was thinking of cooking up a big batch of soup to eat in the evenings as it is pretty healthy and then having my main meal at lunch time.

i havent really decided to go on any diet as such just to concentrate on what is actually going into my mouth.

Im just hopeless with meal ideas though. Im off to asda this afternoon so im trying to make a 10 day meal plan which im going to stick up on the fridge.... that way I thik i will stick to it.
Am going to have a treat on saterday evening though as me and the kids are putting the tree up and were going to have a nice tea afterwards but im hoping if i cook it myself it will limit the damage.

I think you'll lose lots of weight with that plan but you might get fed up of soup for dinner every day.

I'm trying to do no carbs after lunch. I try to do family meals but just adapt mine. My dinners are
salmon with pesto or marinade and veg
Chicken with marinade and veg
Tandoori chicken with cucumber raita and salad
Bolognaise/shepherds pie mince without the carbs and with a salsa and veg
Stir fry chicken/prawns (without noodles or rice but extra veg)
Casseroles and stews without the carbs

Good luck.
