Walk 40 mins 6 Days a Week for a Month

And you will change your life according to this months Goodhousekeeping. So starting on Monday 1st June I am going to do just taht and see what happens.

Apparently it is good for depression and if you walk at a brisk pace you could lose loads of weight.

Would anybody like to join me?

I've been doing this for a few months - and it has made an amazing difference already. I've now got a bike and a toddler trailer and am starting to ride the kids to the playground every day. It's three miles - uphill on the way there.

Honestly, do it and it'll make you feel so much better!

Oh and I've lost a load of weight, don't know how much, don't own scales but enough to drop a clothes size without trying.

I walked 3.5km this morning about 8am - it was fab! My plan is to get up earlier during the week and walk/jog for up to 5km. Got my ipod updated with some good tunes and went for it!
