Can I also asked what happened when you started eating again? Did you go back to normal eating or start on a new diet plan?

Oh we are suffering hey PJ?

yes, it is a worry!

I was gonna start a thread asking if anyone does atkins these days or is it considered a big no. Staying in ketosis but eating could really work for me I think

hellooooo chaps, its me the diet deserter

just wanted to say that although I am not at target, I have maintained 2 of the 3 stone that I lost.

I maintained the whole lot until xmas when life went a bit wrong and things got on top of me - hence 3 month long binge and 1 stone back on. To be honest it wouldn't have mattered how i lost the waight initially, I still would have put it back on over this xmas

therefore: yes you can lose and then maintain on cambridge. I have done it!

There was 18 months between me coming off cambridge and ANY of the wieght going back on and I am no angel , just reasonably sensible, 1 takeaway a week, choclate a couple of times a week and sensible meals.

You can do it guys!

My DH is still going strong and I have just ordered him another weeks worth of packs.

gingernutlover · 23/04/2009 17:56

oh, and when i say not at target when i came off cambridge I mean I wasnt at bmi 25, so not officially at target. I got to bmi 26 and was very happy with my body shape and dress size, so I stopped

HI ginger, was wondering how you are getting on?

Its sooooooo hard this CD malarky, just treated myself to a bottle of coke zero, naughty, naughty!

Are you still dieting?

gingernutlover · 23/04/2009 19:10

hi yeah I am doing ww points and finding i dont want all of my points everyday. A week back on CD has really made me appreciate food and I am determined to carry on losing so I can get back to what I was before the stupid xmas/new year slip up.

I made pasta bake tonight and used only a quarter of the cheese it suggests, was still yummy and I had to split it into 4 portions instead of the usual 2. I had it with a massive salad and feel full

I am avoiding bread for as long as poss since thats somthing that normally makes me put on and I wnt to maintain those 12lbs from last week even if i dont lose anymore this week.

flourybaps · 23/04/2009 19:23

Good for you, all sounds positive, hope you manage to keep those 12lbs off, thats my worry, going through all this and then as soon as I eat a single thing it all goes back on!

Im going to try and do a full 4 weeks then decide whats next.

Never going to put this weight back on though, not doing this again
