hi all

well having lost 3 stone on cambridge a couple of summers ago I am contemplating whether to do it again. My bad habits have slipped back into place and I now need to lose 10lbs to get back to the wieght i was when i came off camnbridge, plus i would like to make it to goal this time so in total i probably need to lose around 20 ibs

is anyone doing this for a second or third or fourth time ?!?!

I have tried unsuccesfully to go back on the diet but it was at a time when there was a lot of stress at home and I now feel everything is a lot calmer. I am scared to try again though since it is an expensive thing t6o do and then give up half way through the first week

i am on another type of meal replacement diet and i find it is so hard to get back onto abstinence. So right now i feel that if i take it day by day or rather hr by hr i will get through it and be the weight i want to be then go back to management in order to keep the weight off long term..
If you really want to do the diet again go for it.

hmmm no i dont really want to give up eating food, especially nice food

but

i do want to be slimmer and i have tried other diets and i cant stick to them. I know last time with Cambridge i always felt it was an all or nothing approach - you can cheat on ww and still lose weight but on CD no cheating possible which is why it hink its the one that will work for me

Gingernut-I started the Cambridge diet again on Monday, for the 3rd time.I also did the diet a couple of years ago and easily lost 4 stone in 3 months.I then tried the diet again about a year ago and found it very hard to stick to and gave up after about a week.
Surprisingly I'm not finding it too difficult at the moment, although still very early days, but I really hope I can stick to it this time as I have quite a bit to lose.

thanks bubbaloo

i have chatted it through tonight with dh and we have decided we will probably do it together once spring comes, last time we did it together was in the warmer part of the year and I hope it might be easier when the sun shines LOL
