i wanted to start a thread for ladies with a fair bit to loose, i am 5ft 4 and if i lost 4 stone i would still be overweight, but i would be happy in myself if i lost 4 stone. well ecstatic really!

i am at work and got to go but will check back later.

come on we should support each other

I am thinking of joining again on thurs but am unsure because I work in a fastfood place and am not too keen on giving up my free food.

I need to do something though. I have about four stone to lose too.

lizandlulu · 13/01/2009 12:18

ha ha, free food!! nothing beats it!!

its going to take a bit of planning but i am determined to stick to it.

i want to wear nice clothes in summer

I'm that dumb I didn't even notice so don't worry.

I am going to asses how many points my free food will be and then decide on whether I will do ww or something else.

lizandlulu · 13/01/2009 12:26

well i am 17st 2 and can have 32, yes 32 points!! yet to see if i can eat all of them and still lose weight

Ooh yes I forgot about that! I weigh more this time around and will be able to have more points, so if I have a smaller brekkie and lunch I can still have my free food.

I wonder how many points I would get now.

Pwsimerimew · 13/01/2009 12:33

Hi! I joined S.W last week and its my fist weigh in tonight. Need to lose 3 stone. Don't really understand WW and points. But I get upto 15 "sins" a day on sw.

lizandlulu · 13/01/2009 13:22

i did sw last year, it is a good plan, but i get stuck in a rut and eat the same free food all the time and get bored, i also found it reall really hard to go out to eat as i couldnt have both meat and carbohydrates.

decided to try ww again, see how i get on.

Wpi! Lost three and a half pounds, I'm happy with that, lets see what I can manage for next week!!!

lizandlulu · 13/01/2009 22:06

If I'm eating out I'll go on an original day, so I can have a steak or gammon or lamb with 7oz new pots as healthy B. (Although in the past I've cheated and had chips...)
Really determind this year. I want to be included in family photos this year, not hide away from cameras.

lizandlulu · 14/01/2009 15:33

good for you, i hope it all goes well for you.

i have been sticking to it so far, i even threw away a half eaten mimi mars bar that dd had, i would usually pop it in my mouth but though, no every little bit helps

I don't miss chocolates, my downfall is crisps. Walkers sensations, posh cheese and onion is current fav, though not had any in 10 days. The shakes have just about dissappeared now.....

lizandlulu · 16/01/2009 12:26

hows it going? i have been on this diet for 4 days and it feels like a lifetime

OP posts:
Pwsimerimew · 16/01/2009 13:11

I can't beleive how positive I am! I think I must have joined SW about a dozen times, but this time I've joined with a friend, so there's a bit of healthy competition going on.
When's your weigh in? Do you drink a lot of water? I bought some Tesco sparkling spring water, flavoured and am happy to say it's syn free for me. It's so nice, I think I'm having something naughty!
Will have one bottle larger tonight and strech it out with diet lemonade. Quite like shandy.
Having anything nice for tea?

stillenacht · 16/01/2009 13:13

me too (was going to start on 2nd Jan) but then AF came and i couldn't face going to the gym - calming down now so am gonna go for it beig time as from Monday

Pwsimerimew · 16/01/2009 14:54

I'll have to go to gym, but keep putting it off - too cold, too dark, too tired. I can only just about find the enthusiasm to go on Wii fit, and no one can see me on that!

lizandlulu · 16/01/2009 15:13

i odnt drink enough water, i always say i am going ot then just forget! i dont drink alot full stop, i cant stand fizzy water, its like drinking gas even flavoured water makes me feel queasy!

my weigh in is on monday, feels liek a life time away. there is a place in town claaed curves and aparently it is ment to be good. a 30 min workout designed just for women, it sounds good and i might try it. i was a member of the gym but cancelled it a few months ago as i couldnt find the time to go.
i odnt know hwats for tea, i live with my parents and she is cooking tonight so its a surprise

stillenacht, i have been on mumsnet for years now and still dont know what AF stands for, what does it mean? i gather its something to do with womans bits?

I had to check the acronyms on the top of the page too. AF - Antie Flo, period.

lizandlulu · 16/01/2009 16:00
