Can I ask what kind of pedometer you bought?

MadameButterfly · 14/02/2005 10:35

This is the one I have.

My results for last Tuesday onwards!!

37642

Done hardly any over the weeekend,we were decorating on Saturday so I didn't even bother putting it on! and with the children being off on half term this week don't have very high expectations!! I think I'kll be doing lots of jogging on the spot!!

Gwenick · 14/02/2005 13:00

Oh dingle - you'd be amazed how much walking you do even while doing stuff around the house or DIY

I keep mine on ALL of the time, except when I did my 1hr fitness DVD on Saturday as that would ahve severely distorted teh figure LOL

coppertop · 14/02/2005 13:12

My total for this week was 64,328.

This was mainly due to walking to and from the hospital nearly every day with ds2. This week isn't looking too hopeful. Ds1 isn't very well so we can't go out anywhere at the moment. Lots of walking/jogging on the spot for me too I think!

Posey · 14/02/2005 20:50

Oh, last again

Well now dd has also had the lurgy, which has laid all of us up for weeks (taking it inturns to be ill), I should at last be able to get back on track. Barely left the house for 5 days last week, so not too bad a total.
Next week I promise there will be no excuses for my low score.

yoyo · 15/02/2005 09:21

DS poorly last week so less walking for me (lots of trips to his room through the night though). Managed 103472 but as it is half-term I am not too hopeful this week as I need my routine to keep me on the straight and narrow.

MB - your pedometer is the one Good Housekeeping recommended.

MadameButterfly · 18/02/2005 10:19

My total is going to be very low this week as we have been staying in mp=ost of the week.

I have been trying to get DD out of nappies so thought it was best to stay at home.

So far I have not even reach 30,000

Another one here with low totals this week. Ds1 and ds2 are both ill and have been for either all of or most of this week. I've been doing well if I do 5,000 steps in a day atm.

albert · 18/02/2005 10:42

If I can find a pedometer, can I join you? Not having much luck in finding one in the shops here though. Do you think Boots will mail order to Italy?

Earlybird · 18/02/2005 11:12

albert - try a camping/outdoors shop. That's where lots of us have bought ours.

Gwenick · 18/02/2005 11:13

Mine isn't fabulous this week, half term, snotty noses and dreadful weather - today the weather is LOVELY - but DS's aren't well so probably stuck in AGAIN!

Tommy · 18/02/2005 12:08

My total for last week was 51,285

I was going to post on the thread but didn't see it!

Dingle · 18/02/2005 15:51

Glad I'm not alone!

Been doing quite a bit of jogging on the spot as I cook dinner!

Tommy · 19/02/2005 11:33

I'll post this weeks on the thread if that's OK with you!

MadameButterfly · 19/02/2005 12:07

Not problem Tommy.

I will start the new thread on Monday.
