How to help 19-year-old dd?

DD is 19.
Fit via a mixture of running and Pilates. Eats well.
She has changed her body shape through exercising but not changed the scales. I think she looks fantastic. The problem is that she doesn’t.
I am concerned at how miserable she is making herself over it. Obsessing about being ‘overweight.’
she is 72kg and 5’5. It gives her a bigger BMI but she has a large frame. She is a size 10 in jeans etc.
Quite busy.
She is incredibly down about it and nothing I say is helping. What advice would you offer?

BMI is often inaccurate for people who have a high proportion of mucle and less fat. It sounds to me like she has lost fat and replaced it with heavier muscle, so that's why her weight is the same. The change in body shape is the real measure of progress.

That’s what I have been trying to say too. It’s so tough when they are comparing themselves to peers.

Sorry! That should read ‘quite busty’ although she’s busy too!
