Hi just looking for some advice please, I'm feeling so deflated right now 😪 I got diagnosed with ceoliac this year, I've done the gluten free diet and cut everything out permanently. I've had 1 hiccup in 6months, I've been trying to lose weight as I've gained a stone since being diagnosed. I dropped 6lbs in weight and felt like i was getting somewhere then weighed myself thursday and I'd gained 5lbs. I've weighed myself this morning and I've gained another 4lbs, I've got an active job 12hour shifts on hospital wards so I'm running around majority of the time and moving people around like re.postioning them. the only time I stop is when I'm on my break which is 30minutes. I've still got symptoms of ceoliac desease still bloating constipation fatigue and generally just feel unwell, so I switched my diet and cut out dairy to see whats triggering my symptoms. In this last week I've drank peppermint tea and lemon - ginger tea. I've eaten rice, some lean lamb and a small amount of plain salad no sauces over 2 days just as an evening meal. Then Carrots brocolli sprouts mash gravy over another 2 days. Then 3 mini spring rolls, a tube of 500g crisps abit like pringles but gluten free and a peanut protein bar over 2 days.
I work nights aswell as day shifts. When I started nights I gained some weight so I stopped eating anything during night shifts and lost the weight I'd gained (this was before I was diagnosed) so I've done this for 7 years now not had a weight gain problem since.
Last night I had 1/2 a can of coca cola didn't drink the rest and had x1 cup of normal tea with milk and x1 sugar ( I felt abit better stomach wise this week so I wanted to test wether i felt worse after consuming some milk) I didnt feel worse before my night shift thank goodness. But as I'd already gained 5lbs this week, I went back onto the peppermint tea to reduce calories. Yet I've gained another 4lbs on top of the 5lbs.
Is this even possible to gain that much weight in 7 days.

I don't go to the gym or work out, 2bh I feel like work is a work out I'll do 18,000-20,000 steps a shift lift heavy things and im working 3 jobs. I'm definitely 100% in calorie deficiency I shouldn't be gaining.
I'm fed up of feeling alone in all this, I'm the only 1 in my household and at work with ceoliac. Surely this weight gain can't all be down to the fact that I've cut gluten out 🤷♀️ I've been unwell for just over a year and it's really starting to get to me now 😔
