Anyone still doing it without the injections?

I’ve gained a few stone since having a baby but have previously lost 5 stone in 6months with a calorie deficit and walking.
it don’t fall off of me and I do have to be super disciplined. Some friends of mine on WLI are losing only 2-3 stone in a 6 months. So what’s so good about them if you can lose weight quicker in a deficit in my case. Someone enlighten me as to why people take the injections instead of deficit and exercise?

Because some of us can't lose weight through diet and exercise and we all have different bodies and metabolisms.
I was highly prediabetic (and possibly diabetic as hadnt had a blood test for a year), high blood pressure, genetically predisposed to diabetes and heart conditions, IBS and inflammatory conditions, 42 years old when I started mounjaro at 13st 1lbs bmi 32.4. I had lots of high sugar symptoms such as feeling faint and dizzy if I didn't eat every 3-4hrs and constantly craved carbs, caught infections all the time like 7 in 6 months, even ended up in a+e and staying in hospital overnight.
Gave a good effort at Joe wicks body coach app, tracked all my food, ate in a deficit and did exercise 4-5 times a week for 6 weeks solid and lost 2lbs!
Started mounjaro Oct 24 lost 5lbs in 6 weeks with zero exercise and I wasn't strict on my food at the start. It really helps cut the calories and takes away food noise and carb cravings, so I'm not constantly thinking of what to eat next, like i used to and more importantly it has the extra insulin that my body needs, looking back I had insulin resistance symptoms since I was 18 but didn't realise. Its changed my life and really works for others especially women with pcos, prediabetes, hypothyroid who struggle to lose weight.
I'm now 9st 3lbs bmi 22.9 healthy weight and waist for my height, would never have got here without MJ and I eat much healthier with a higher protein diet, as its taken my carb cravings away and resolved my prediabetes.
If you can lose weight without it then you're lucky and I'd say go for it x

I've lost 6 stone and 2lbs in 9 months...I'll take the jabs...if you're happy with your way carry on...why does it matter?

Why on earth would you think you need to take medication if you can do it without. Clearly those of us who take them, can’t. But you can, so crack on.

If you can do it with the results you’re looking for without the jabs then crack on!
I have a hormonal imbalance which has been corrected with MJ. lost 3 stones in 3 months and in a year lost 6.5 stone and am now at my desired weight.
Nothing wrong with a few stone in 6 months on the jabs - it seems unlikely they would have achieved that without the jabs.
I’d love to have been able to lose it without spending hundreds of pounds every month but the cards I’ve been dealt made my body slightly broken 😂
Not everyone needs them, you’re obviously one of them.
