Hi. I keep hearing about the pink salt trick. Has anyone tried it and if so did it help? Also what recipe did you use? Thanks.

What is it?
there is no way that you can lose weight with a 'trick'. Adding pink salt to food doesn't reduce the calories.

WineIsMyMainVice · 26/10/2025 09:25

No it’s not about adding salt to your food it’s a few different ingredients that you drink which are meant to help mimic the hormones in your body that help burn fat.

Do you have a link to this?

I suspect this is a new 'fad' or designed to double the sales of pink salt? If losing weight was as simple as a few 'tricks' WLI would not need to be a thing.

Pink Himalayan salt has long been used instead of, or maybe before those silly electrolyte drinks came along. Is that what you mean. ?

WhyamIinahandcartandwherearewegoing · 26/10/2025 09:34

No tricks. At best adding salt can act as an electrolyte - and it’s not a bad idea to have a pinch in water with some lemon first thing.

none of this will help you lose weight - only being in a calorie deficit will.

BIWI · 27/10/2025 10:47

This is blatant nonsense.

TheBlueHotel · 27/10/2025 10:51

So it acts as a slight boost to electrolytes? And how do you think that's going to make you lose weight exactly?

BIWI · 27/10/2025 10:52

I’ve also reported the advertising/spam

Sc00byDont · 27/10/2025 10:53

This is absolute bs.

FYI here’s a fact filled and informative podcast about different types of salt

Ah, those ads that pop up on YouTube is it?

BIWI · 05/11/2025 19:32

Sorry but this is blatant nonsense. I say again. And I’ve reported, again.
