Mounjaro doseage advice

I am currently taking 5mg Mounjaro due to increase next week to 7.5.
if I decide to stay on 5mg (it is certainly suppressing my appetite) will I still lose weight? I’m aware not eating the junk etc should increase weight loss…is anyone here doing or perhaps has stayed on a lower doseage?

as always thankyou for reading along with any appreciated advice.

Yes you will still lose weight, you lose weight by eating fewer calories. So if you are managing that fine on 5mg then you’ll continue to lose.

I have stayed on 2.5mg for months now, still losing weight. It’s your calorie intake that dictates your weight loss, so as long as you are eating healthily in a deficit you should still lose

I went up each month and stopped at 12.5 but a friend lost 5 stone on 5mg and never went up higher. As long as you are losing it’s best to stay on the lowest dose possible so I would stay on 5 until a point where it stops working and maybe you’ll be lucky and never need to go higher!

I started mid January and I’m only on 7.5 mg. I probably should have gone up this month but it’s the school holidays and I didn’t want any side effects. I’m happy losing between 1 to 2 lbs a month.

Same. I'm on my 4th pen of 2.5mg and still working.
