I've plateaued- help me get back on track

I've lost 20kg in the last year. Mainly through cutting out crap (no chocolate sweets crisps etc) I'm now stuck at 115kg

No wine /alcohol
Hardly any bread

My job is sedentary and I struggle to get to 7k steps a day. I already go for an extra walk at lunch and park further away and walk to the office.

I do a smoothie for breakfast (banana, fat free yogurt, skimmed milk, tablespoon of oats and frozen strawberries)

Salad with cold chicken and low fat feta for lunch.

Dinner eg pasta, omlette, salad again, stir fry, curry etc

My danger time is when I get in from work. I'm so tired and previously I would have had some biscuits or crisps. I do have some crackers with low fat cheese spread or one of those "diet" museli bars but they are actually full of sugar.
What could I have? Fruit doesn't do it. Banana too high in cals, don't like apples.

Any suggestions ?

Are you weighing your food and calorie tracking?

WelshBookWitch · 13/06/2025 19:06

I'm not weighing but I track cals on an app.
My portions are probably too big aren't they?

If you are not weighing you food you can’t accurately track the calories on an app unfortunately.

Livedandlearned · 13/06/2025 20:05

I’d always go for a high protein snack, 30grams of nuts or a matchbox sized piece of cheese.

Babybel (light) works for me

Yeah, you need to be weighing everything. Otherwise it's easy to not realise you are over your calories.

Thanks all, I'm starting weighing everything tomorrow
