Type one diabetic and hypothyroidism

Basically just that. Have about 20kg to lose post baby (well child now!), I have been type one diabetic and under active thyroid on medication for 30 odd years and I’m just struggling. I have no willpower! I don’t qualify for MJ or I’d be on them in a flash.
I've been ill for a week and hardly eaten for 7 days and the scales haven’t moved even 100g!!!
I struggling with keeping my blood sugars level and have developed a degree of insulin resistance over the past few years. I just hate how I look and need a kick up the arse.
Anyone else in a similar situation with difficult conditions to manage?
