Hello all, new to this but started mounjaro on Tuesday (25th march) and I’ve lost weight and can feel the effects but, now on day 4, I got my first hunger pang. I managed to re-direct it with a coffee and ate with the kids when I got home (so I wasn’t snacking) I’m not feeling any nausea, just not as hungry as usual. I’m hoping in 3 weeks the increase will help me abit more. I still feel the need to eat but only when it’s in front of me, meaning I don’t actively seek to eat as much. Anyhow, how are you guys getting on? Did you feel more effects later on or from the start? I’ve started it at 17st 10 pounds. Weighed today and lost 3 which is an achievement.

Feeling hungry is normal though, what had you eaten?

Oh I didn’t know this, I hadn’t felt hungry until today. Maybe it is working more than I thought. I ate a ham sandwich.

Its fine to feel hunger sometimes, healthy even, as I'm learning how to eat to demand now rather that eat for pleasure. I find even when I'm hungry I don't get hangry like I used to, it gives me time to fix a proper meal or snack rather than eating 4 slices of toast while making a meal.

Thanks, was that on the 2.5 ? I’m the same I can say stop when eating a meal instead of getting seconds. I’m the same with bread, used to use it as a mop on my plate haha

The biggest thing for me has been the reduction in food noise! Before mounjaro I was constantly thinking about what I could eat next! Now I hardly think about food at all and when people bring cakes in at work they don't interest me where before I'd be fighting temptation all day! I started in August 24. I'm just under 4 stone down and currently on a 10mg dose. The difference it has made to me is amazing! Good luck with your journey. 😊

This is so lovely to hear, couldn’t put it better myself. You’ve done fab!! Snap about the cake and sweet treats at work, I don’t feel I need them anymore and can say no, finally 🤣.
glad it’s worked for you.
