Mood lead binging

Urgh, I've had such a bad week! Feeling kind of 'off' - not unwell enough not to work or do the usual things, but not 100%. Given the choice, I'd have hibernated - I've not been feeling great in or about myself and I don't know why.

I've binge eaten all bloody week - mostly carbs and sugary shite and I've consumed a LOT. I usually eat pretty healthily and I know once this mood has passed, I'll go back to normal, but why do I do this? I have noticed that my diet often reflects how I'm feeling in myself - when I feel good (most of the time) I treat myself well, but when I feel bad it's like I'm sabotaging myself by shoving unhealyhy things into my mouth and treat myself badly (a goose being fattened for fois gras comes to mind).

Can anyone relate? Anyone know how to break this unhealthy connection and eat well when they're feeling a bit rubbish instead of punishing themselves with sugar?
