I posted a while ago asking if I was fat at 10st and 5ft 4inch.

I had a mixed response, but deep down, I knew I was at least chubby.

Since then I have lost half a stone and put it back on again.

I am determined to lose a stone before May.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas for super easy low cal meals and snacks.

I am extremely lazy time poor.

Big problem is I just grab what's there.

What are your go to meals / snacks when you are dieting?

I don't eat meat or cheese.

Thank you so much in advance!!!

What helped me was to have a meal plan(as well as intermittent fasting and calorie counting). This takes the thinking out of it.
My usual are either bowl of fruit, teacake or marmalade on slice of toast for late breakfast (may skip this meal).
Lunch is soup and a roll, egg, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms or beans on toast.
Then portion controlled meal of whatever family meal I'm cooking. I might add extras on side for teens eg garlic bread, but instead ill have extra salad/veg.
I don't often snack (and never after evening meal) but if I do I will have cream crackers, poppy seed crackers, fruit or a rice cake.
Every few months I might swap to different meals to keep it interesting but lunch and breakfast stay pretty consistent.
I found this time consuming at first but then it's simple to do once set up. It was well worth the energy.

I second meal planning and not having anything 'snacky' in the cupboards. The way I do it is to skip breakfast, only eat lunch on work days, and have my main meal in the evening (because I can't sleep if I'm hungry). I plan my calorie intake accordingly (so I can eat more in that one meal when I'm OMADing). I also run and have a static cycle, so I do quite a lot of exercise which helps body shape and also metabolism - can you try to find at least one form of exercise that you don't mind? Even if it's something different like horse riding or climbing...anything you do will help (I have a dog, so I HAVE to go out several times a day).
ETA just realised I haven't given any meal ideas. Slow cooker is your friend, soups and anything that's rammed with veg, veg stews are particularly good.

Thank you very much @Mikejohnpambobemma and @Vroomfondleswaistcoat

Good ideas.

I find the slow cooker a faff. I know!!!

Skipping breakfast will def help. I too need to eat in evening or I can't sleep!

I try my best to save calories for last meal of day.

I have a small child and full time job and I am knackered much of the time.

I know I will have more energy if I exercise.

Thank you again!

Try not to snack at all plus what do you do for protein? It fills you up so what’s taking its place? Low carbs and low sugar is the way forward.
