Is 8 weeks enough time to see difference?

I have a family event in 8 weeks?

What can I do to even make a slight difference in my appearance by losing as much weight as possible?

Anyone got any advice? Not weight loss injections.

Fast 800 if you can hack it.

Lots of water and reducing carbs like white bread and pasta will help skin and reduce any bloating and doing some kind of resistance and stretching exercise will help with posture which makes you look and feel better.

Fast800 I lost a stone in 6 weeks. If I space the meals right, am not hungry. I try to not eat before midday and not a after 8pm.

How much do you have to lose?

I’ve just lost 30lbs in about 11 weeks doing keto.

If you can power through the first few days when you might feel grotty, it’s a surprisingly easy diet to follow. I’m never hungry, and there’s a wide variety of food.

I’m lighter but I’m also less bloated, and interestingly, my PMT water retention hasn’t been as bad either.

I'm 14st 3
End goal is 11st
I am 5ft 9

(I know I can't lost all this in 8 weeks) hopefully maybe a dress size?

@SpidersAreShitheads can you/others see a difference?

I've lost 7lb in 4 weeks.

Cut out the crap - refined carbs basically eating around 1,200 calories a day using my fitness pal and I'm only 5' so my maintenance calorie intake for my inactive lifestyle is only 1,400 😭

Femme2804 · 20/10/2024 23:15

Try mounjaro. I lost 1 stone in 4 weeks and its really easy diets. I eat 1200 a day and weightlifting 3 times a week and cardio 40 mins after my weightlifting. Walk around 7k-10k everyday

Yes, very much so!

I haven’t bought new clothes as I want to lose quite a bit more so my trousers are much looser. I often wear stretchy wrap dresses/tunic tops and leggings - and even my partner (who’s notoriously unobservant) said out of the blue that he could see how much slimmer my legs are. My DM has also said it’s really noticeable - and she’s normally quite blunt and rude so that’s high praise indeed 😂

I haven’t seen my close friends recently (we have SEN DC so don’t get out too much). I’m looking forward to seeing them as I think they’ll be surprised (I haven’t told them I’m dieting).

I still have a lot to lose but my upper stomach sticks out less and I can feel my waist and ribs more clearly. It’s really motivating tbh! Probably the first place that it was noticeable was round my face - my double chin has vanished in photos.

Honestly, I’ve got a very long way to go but I’ve been surprised how different I feel and look already 🙂

Sorry @TaraW20 - I was trying to quote your post but somehow managed to reply to myself 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
