Hi,

Im 13st 11 lb (gulp) and I want to get back to me pre baby weight (6 yrs ago) of 10 stone....

Im going for the calorie conrolled way as has always worked for me in the past. Aswell as trying to squeeze in some more excercise into my hectic life.

Im looking for little gems of inspiration from anyone with experience on how to speed up weight loss and keep motivated. Like "drink chilled water rather than room temp" as burns more calories as your body has to work to bring it up to body temp.

Thanks ladies
Daisy

Only piece of advice i can give is slowly does it..and much more chance of keeping it off.
Dont deny yourself little treats, especially if you have been really good..i walk my kids to school and back everyday..i walk everywhere even up town and back and i do dance for exercise! So if i fancy a small choc bar, then ill have one because i know it will be burned off..life would be no fun otherwise if we couldnt have the odd treat or takeaway.
I started at 11st 14 and im now at 10st 10 and im 5ft 4 so ive little bit to go yet..im losing on average 1/2 pounds per week!

mustard seeds sprinkled on your food are supposed to help. There's also a tea called pu'erh tea that you drink after meals - you can buy it a teawarehouse.com - both of these are supposed to kick your metabolism into gear

brush your teeth after you eat - you'll be less likely to keep eating with a nice, fresh clean mouth

cut out one food group - wheat, dairy or whatever - and use the substitute. Rye bread instead of wheat, rice milk instead of cow etc.

good luck!

Home made soup everyday for lunch, veg soup or roast pepper soup is nice, it fills you up and has hardly any calories.

oooh yes - or pumpkin, sweet potato and ginger is good too!
