Loose skin question

Hello, I am late 50s and have lost around 2 dress sizes over 6 months. I'm left with sad looking loose skin. Not bags of it, just an amount I'm not happy with.

I can see the skin on my thighs and stomach and under my bum is lose loose.

Does this resolve at all by itself over time a little bit or is what I have what I will always be left with at my age?

Well done! I've gone from a size 18/20 to an 8/10 in a year on injectables, 50+. Lost around 5 stone. It's really individual and I did go through a 'melted candle' stage but I swear it's gradually sorting itself out, although in the nude I will never be what I was especially after two old c sections, and I carried a lot of weight on my belly. But honestly the rest of me is not much worse than my friends who were always slim/fit. Gravity catches up on all of us and sag has no risks unlike being overweight. Look around and you'll see very few mature people with 'perfect skin'.
Shapewear is great for sag!
I don't know if it's helped me but I've been religious about collagen, omega 3 and getting plenty of oily fish. Bit of dry brushing and a good moisturizer, sometimes a bit of fake tan.

Wow amazing job!
How did you figure out how to maintain your size and not keep shrinking or regaining?

Good question. I knew my target weight/BMI (around 21) and worked out my TDEE.

I'm down 77lbs since last year. Gone from size 18/20 to a 10/12 so similar to the other poster above. I have a little loose skin here or there but nothing anyone would notice really. I did have loose skin on my neck, arms and bum but it really has gradually sorted itself out over the time. I haven't taken any extra vitamins or collagen etc so it seems it sorts itself fairly easily. I am mid-40s.

I'm mid fifties and have recently lost just over 3 stone, going from a 14/16 to a comfortable 12 and BMI 23. I have some sagging on my arms, a bit on my thighs and belly and neck but really only my arms I'm conscious of, belly and thighs are under wraps for the most part..

I did start running and some weights during the journey. For my arms I will increase the weights as I think that will help there. Also taking fish oil pill a day (not sure if that helps).

I do read that the skin does adjust slightly over time. And I've also decided that a few more wrinkles/sags is a small price for being generally more fitter and healthier.

I've also lost around 50 kg at aged 50 and I have to say the loose skin isn't great! Top of arms/legs above knee are not good and stomach is a disaster. Now it's waaaay better than the previous + 50kg situation but honestly it's not improving and I don't think it will. Surgery is the only way, but expense and time required make that impossible. So here we are.

I don't so much care about the stomach - I don't tend to waft about in crop tops or bikinis ever. The legs and arms bother me though.
