Mounjaro vs wegovy

Morning! With the news this morning saying wegovy and ozempic are now the new wonder drug Im concerned I have jumped to the wrong option as I started Mounjaro on Sunday should I have opted for either of the others?

No in my view noun harp is better than wegovy. Have a Google and compare the differences between the two.

I meant mounjaro obviously. 🙄

Mounjaro is supposedly more effective than Wegovy.

Bear in mind that Mounjaro still contains the same GLP-1 agonist as Ozempic/ Wegovy. It also contains a GIP agonist, which is what makes it more effective for weight loss. Therefore all of those benefits that exist for Ozempic/Wegovy surely exist for Mounjaro too. Mounjaro is, however, a more recent drug, so I imagine it has simply not been researched in as much depth yet, or at least, the research is not yet available.
