I've tried most diet plans during my younger years but now they don't work. Am guessing hormones may play a part in this.
I really want/ need to lose a stone...how do I do this????

Work out your TDEE and eat 500kcals a day fewer. Have a diet with lots of good protein, lots of fruit and veg, plenty of water and move more than usual. Plenty of good, quality sleep. Job done.

Try the Fast 800. I was in the same boat and that was the change that got the pounds moving.

I am 57 and have give from 11st 7lbs to 9st 6 lbs. Fast800 suits me, unfortunately I couldn’t lose weight without being pretty strict. You just really need to want to do it. It took me 5 years of false starts to finally commit. I realised I wanted to be slim more than I wanted the toast etc.

It has been so worth it, I am much happier. I feel much better in my body, for example I can go from kneeling to standing easily now whereas last summer I needed to pull myself up. I have also started exercising regularly as this is easier being lighter.

It's really boring but true! There will be hordes coming on with mad/fad/bad diets, but to lose and keep it off, this is the answer.
I have lost 7kg using MFP and 2 more classes a week.
