Losing 5 kg in 2 weeks?

To start with, yes, I know this isn’t a sensible idea under normal circumstances. But.

I’ve just received a letter saying I’ve got a pre-op appointment in 2 weeks time.

In the last consultant appointment I had, the consultant said that she wanted me to be 90kg for the operation.

I weighed 95kg first thing this morning before breakfast.

Is it possible to lose this 5 kg in 2 weeks?
Or do I need to ring the hospital and ask them to postpone things?

Nearly doable if you cut carbs from your diet and eat around 1000 calories per day. You’ll loose 3kg the first week, a lot of it is water weight.

Hmm.

I think I’ll try that for a week and see what my weight looks like. If it’s still a good way off target then I can always call the hospital next week about postponing things.

The thing that’s slightly frustrating me here, is that my current weight is less than the first target weight the consultant set me, but there’s not really anything I can do about them moving the goalposts!
