Is it realistic of me to expect to lose 1.5 stone by the end of June?
CW 12.5 stone
GW: 11 stone
Height: 5'8

I currently swim 2-3 times a week and walk the dog for 1 hour per day
I have cut out alcohol so my only downfall now is chocolate!

Yes I think that you could do that. It's 9 weeks until 1st June so you are looking at losing roughly 2.3lbs per week.

I started last Tuesday, I'm on the daily weigh in thread which I find motivating.

It’s ambitious to try to lose 2.6lbs a week every week and it’s above what is healthy in terms of avoiding a crash diet. You can easily lose a stone so maybe don’t set yourself up to aim too high in a short period as you might feel rubbish if you don’t make it, or rubbish because you have crash dieted. Do you want to lose this for a holiday or to keep it off long term? That is important as you can crash diet to lose for an event but it’s not going to be a healthy or sustainable way to lose weight

You're not very overweight so whilst 1.5 stone in 9 weeks is generally possible you might struggle.

I assume you want to change how you look more than the number on the scale so 10lb and a lot of toning exercise might be more achievable.

I always point people to the channel 4 program Lose a stone in 28 days and the accompanying book fast 800. Not saying follow it exactly because it's very challenging but I think it's easier to stay motivated for a shorter while with a more extreme regime which gives pretty much daily results.

Fast 800, I lost more than that in less time.

no processed food at all, low sugar, low carb. Honestly it works like a dream.

Unfortunatley I let it slip away from me and I’m doing it again!!
