Exante closing down - Alternatives please?

I've been using Exante shakes to replace some meals. This morning I've received an email saying they are closing down. I went on the website to try to grab whatever was left of the stock but there appears to be nothing left.

I'm looking for an alternative that I can order online, without having to sign up to any meetings or have a consultant or anything like that. Can anyone recommend something similar to Exante? I'm mostly looking for shakes, but occasionally used to buy the bars and other meal replacements too.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas!

They still seem to be for sale on Amazon, Op.

New you plan

Flin · 25/03/2024 10:45

Thank you both! I'll look on Amazon and take a look at New You. I hadn't heard of that plan.

Thank you. I've just had a look at that one and it looks good.

I also got the email.
I had noticed recently there was hardly any flavours available.

Another option might be something like protein world shakes or slim fast.

My order from Shake That Weight arrived today. Nice and quick!

I've tried the coconut bar and it's pretty good. I didn't like Exante bars much and just mostly used the shakes.

I think that for me, the Shake That Weight stuff might turn out to be better. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.

Will do. I'm having a soup tonight and will try a shake tomorrow morning. I'll let you know.

Please update on the shakes please.

The soup last night wasn't bad at all. I had the chicken one. It was better than Exante or the old Cambridge Diet soup. (I haven't used Cambridge for over 10 years though, so their products may have improved.)

This morning I've had the Cherry Bakewell shake and it's surprisingly nice. It doesn't have that weird aftertaste that some have. It's very sweet though. Not unpleasant. I'd buy more.

I've just noticed that some of the shakes need mixing with skimmed milk, that's a bit of a pain. Some are with water. So that's worth bearing in mind if you're thinking about buying any.

Just another update in case anyone is interested and thinking of buying these shakes...

I tried the chocolate one today, one of the ones you have to make with skimmed milk. It was lovely and creamy. Definitely better than the other brands in my opinion. Exante ones seemed to have gone a bit gritty textured since they changed the recipe a while ago. I make all my shakes in a blender with ice.

I also tried the crunchy caramel bar. That wasn't good and I wouldn't order it again. I've tried the chewy lemon one and that was great! Already placed an order for 2 boxes of those.

So far so good with the shakes, I'm enjoying them (well as much as you can enjoy life without cake and gin!)

Thanks for the update @Flin glad it is going well for you.

I am going to order some too.

Do you just use them as some meals occasionally? That's what I am thinking of.

I met someone yesterday who has two bars a day and a basic chicken salad in the evening after losing 4 stone on Cambridge.

I tried shake that weight it didnt do any good.

My mum suggested I try CollaSlim from SoBodyCo. She use's their Peptigen for her joint problems and swears by it. I tried their CollaSlim range and its amazing. Try the Caramel!
