Hi there, has anybody managed to lose a significant amount of weight without loose skin? Or could tell me how you are coping/managing it?
I'm late 30s 3 children, i managed to get myself into a mess and at my heaviest weighed in at 18st10 in 2020. My children are all sen, 2 severe and one medically complex a cold virus once put us in hospital for 6 weeks, she's tube fed aswell as learning disabilities and asd. I definitely survive on sugar, I've managed to lose just over 4 stone so far since then, I've purposely done it slow because I need it to stay off I am on the go 24/7 and need to be able to physically keep up with my children's needs. I'm about half way to even the top end of the healthly weight for my size 5ft5 and already my stomach and legs look like a melted snowman. I do over 10,000 steps a day despite not leaving my small 3 bed house front door due to how much I need to do for the girls. My youngest has just turned one I stopped the gym at 6 months pregnant can't currently go back probably for about a good year yet, with another 4stone to go I'm terrified of how I'm going to look. My self confidence is already in the shit due to having to give up work to meet the girls needs, I have no choice but to keep losing the weight for my kids sake but what do I do with the skin? I'd never be able to afford a skin op or if by a miracle I could get it I couldn't actually have time out for the op and recovery.
Sorry huge waffle didn't want to drip feed.
