I'm starting this thread to make me accountable. If anyone wants to join feel free that would be great.
I'm doing 1700 cals per day for 2 weeks to see how far I get.. Also aiming for 10000 steps per day.
Start date 2nd Jan
Starting weight 15st 12lbs.
1lb at a time..

Yes please. I'd love to join you. One lb at a time seems like an excellent approach and I am trying not to think about how many of those I need to lose!

Great idea, I see the 'lose 3 stones' threads and while I'd love to join in I think it would be easier to start with smaller targets.

1st day completed I finished on 1789 cals a little bit over. But I did complete 13297 steps so really proud of myself. I even went for a walk in the rain. Let's hope the weather is a bit better today. X

I've been really good this week. Only 1 day where I didn't complete 10000 steps.
Managed to eat in deficit everyday.

Had a bit of a strange week. Chocolate has played a big part of this for the last few days. However I have managed to stay in deficit most days. Homemade soup has helped with that I've just been chopping loads of veg adding a stick cube and blending once cooked.. really nice.

Current weight 15:8
Loss altogether 4lbs.

Well done on your loss Flowers I lost 2lbs by the end of last week. Happy with that and I already feel much less bloated.

I finally need to admit I have a chocolate/sugar addiction.. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 5 years ago...I have never really taken the issue seriously. As of today I am going to start taking my meds again no matter how rubbish they make me feel. Also going to do very low sugar diet as well. I have been eating quite well not increased in weight since last weigh in but also not lost anything either. I need to pull up my big girl pants and start to take things seriously.. Happy Saturday everyone.
