0.25/0.5 Wegovy panes the same?

Hi, hoping that someone who has been able to get their hands on Wegovy can help...does anyone know if the 0.25 and 0.5 Wegovy pens contain the same amount? I know on Ozempic, the 0.25 pens and the 0.5 pens contained the same amount, meaning that you could use both a 0.25 pen or a 0.5 pen for 8 weeks of 0.25 dose (or use a 0.25 pen for 4 weeks if you want the 0.5 dose). If you used the 0.25 pen as instructed and threw it away after 4 weeks you'd be throwing away half its contents. Hope im making sense :)

So, if I buy a 0.25 Wegovy pen, does it actually have enough liquid in to last 8 weeks on 0.25 dose, like the ozempic did? I know there have been musings that the Wegovy pens won't work the same. so Im asking if anyone who has actually used the Wegovy pens can verify?

Sorry, another question if I may... re Wegovy pens, is it possible to get 8 weeks of 0.25 from a 0.5 pen by counting the clicks and doing a 'half dose'?

Isn't the .25 a starting dose that should only be used for 4 weeks then swap to .5 anyway?

@DrJump I'm pretty sure im remembering this correctly...when I was on ozempic, the amount of liquid in the pens was the same regardless of whether you had a 0.25 or 0.5 pen. So, you could use 4x0.25 doses and then get 2x0.5 doses out of it (lasting 6 weeks) or 8x0.25 doses to last 8 weeks out of one pen. Again, from memory, the 0.25 worked well for me for a week to two longer than the 4 weeks. It just helped to make it a bit more cost effective.

@PinkCosYouAreSoVery you're right the 0.25 and 0.5 ozempic pens have exactly the same amount in them. Not sure whether the wegovy pens do too. I've switched to wegovy but I'm on 1mg so I don't know what's in the smaller pens.

I started Wegovy yesterday (0.25), and unfortunately saw the liquid disappear - I didnt see this in the ozempic pens for 3 or 4 weeks so I thin wegovy pens only contain the right amount of liquid for 4 weeks of the prescribed dose. I'd love to be wrong though!
