Slimming September

Hi ladies,

Excuse the lack of originality in the title. Hope everyone has had a good Summer. I'm starting September at 8st12, a few pounds down from last month (for the first time all year) cause of my horrible lurgy. Just aiming to enjoy September and eat relatively healthily.

@Gnomegnomegnome - that’s pretty impressive all the exercise you do - although you don’t sound that you have much to lose so those last few kgs will be tougher - 47.6kg is very low. I think 50kg could be achievable for me - but we’ll see - I’ll be happy to hit 55kg first! 😁

I’ve been MIA for ages.

I’m huge and it’s feeling insurmountable currently.

Am moving more and eating about the same but putting on weight. I hate that even not gaining requires radical action for me now.

I'm going to reduce the amount of oestrogen I’m using and see if that makes a difference.

Hope everyone is ok.

Good to see you @swallowedAfly , I'd been wondering how you were. Hope that reducing your oestrogen helps.

I'm eating more than I was, took a bit of time for my appetite to come back fully after the horrible virus (suspect covid eventhough it didn't show on a test) I had, so I will weigh in tomorrow and see where I am at.

Nice to “see” you @swallowedAfly.
Glad you’re recovered from the virus now @Octopus45. I’m plodding along still, I haven’t weighed for a while as I have no idea where our scales are! (We had a new bathroom fitted over summer and they have since disappeared!). I’m still keeping up with 3/4 gym classes/sessions a week and am back on the no snacks after dinner wagon! I need to get some ideas for quick but tasty lunches as I really struggle and end up with a sandwich or toast and crisps which is no good! Any ideas welcome 😊
Hope everyone is doing well

If you like eggs they’re great for quick and filling and no carbs. For quick you can boil a load and put in fridge when you’re cooking sometime. Also an avocado is instant an healthy. Sounds wrong but an avocado and a couple of boiled eggs would be good.

Canned fish and a wrap if you really want bread? Definitely get some protein in.

sorry you’ve been ill octopus, hopefully there’s a perk when you weigh in.

I’ve reduced estrogel and am trying to get steps up. Burning a lot more calories since going back to work according to Fitbit. Will see how it goes. Liposuction is increasingly tempting.

Hi ladies, hope you are all ok. Sorry I've been AWOL all month. Unfortunately, I've got a bit of a health scare. I found a lump in my breast and I've got an appointment at the breast clinic a bit scared but trying to stay calm. I've had to come off HRT for now dont know if its linked or not. Appointment on Friday so not too long to wait.
