Low Fat/Syn Soups

I was just about to raid my fridge despite being as good as gold all day but when i got there seen my soup i made yesterday so had that instead. It has totally taken away my craving for being naughty so I'm gonna try and keep some in the fridge and see if it does the trick. I binge massively normally

Anyway, does anybody have any other low fat (prefer low syn as trying to do SW) soups I can try? Gotta be easy, hate faffing about.

My fave at the moment is Butternut & carrot soup which has about 3 syns for the whole thing (makes loads) and is absolutely gorgeous and really easy to make. Heres the recipe:

1 butternut squash cubed
3 large carrots cut into chunks.
2 veggie stock cubes (I use Knorr)
about a pint and a half of boiling water

Chuck it all in the pan, leave to simmer for about 1/2 hour. Put in a blender and add pepper to taste. Easy!

Hi, ladela, your soup sounds lovely. The topic comes from time to time on MN and if you use the search you'll find some nice recipies. Please, have a look at this thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/4/451250
i made soup today which i think is 0 points: shreaded 1/4 of cabage, 1/3 yellow pepper, cut in small chanks, 1 cut carrot, marigold veg boullion, 1 garlic, 3 tbs of organic tomato paste and when it was ready (about 20 minutes) I added chopped spring onions and coriander. i read somewhere that it's better to have chancks in soup rathen then blend it as you get more satisfied.
