Hi all,

I'm 28, 5 foot 7 and weigh 16.5 stone.

My mental health has been shot and I've just let it get away from me and I really want to start losing weight but is it too late? Am I too old? Have I missed my prime and it won't make any difference?

I just feel very deflated right now.

i was 16st 6lb a couple of months ago, now 14st 11 at last weigh. Older than you too. I’ve got a way to go but it’s coming off. You can do it!!

It’s not too late at all. Start small, and you’ll be amazed what progress you can make.

Don’t forget that it takes 21 days to build a habit. You can do this!

Also, I’ve got so many friends who felt better in their 30s than their 20s. Why don’t you start planning an awesome 30th (however big or small you want to make it) and aim to be the best version of yourself by then. You’ve got two years, go for it!

You're in your 20s? You could life another 80 years...

It's never too late to feel healthier and better about yourself.

I'm 34 and have lost over 4stone this year. Pretty annoyed I didn't do this 6 years ago when I was 28. Start now and you'll be thankful next year.

No it's not late . I just had a call with my GP and she mentioned to start a 30 mins walk daily. And guess what I already lost 2 kgs in two weeks. I know it's not a lot compared to my target weight but it's a start.

Try nhs app it's free and you can track your progress too. You can do it !

Well I’m almost 38 so I flippin’ well hope not! 😁Any age is the right age! My best weight loss ever was when I was 28 and I only wish I could lose it as easily as I did then
