Low GI diet.. always hungry!

Has anyone gone low GI and been constantly hungry? I've only been doing this just over a week, the food itself is ok but I'm starving all the bloody time!
Does anyone have any snack/meal ideas that actually fill them up?
For context I'm only just slightly overweight according to my bmi (26.5). I'm also trying to cut down on portion sizes and just generally make better food choices. I'm also on sertraline so that could be having an impact here too

How many calories are you eating? Reduce by 20% to lose weight.

Are you eating enough lean protein? That helps you feel full, as do chia seeds. A couple of table spoons of chia seeds in a smoothie is very filling, a table spoon on Greek yogurt can help you feel full too. Greek yogurt is low gi

Kvarg is high protein, low calorie and I believe is quark based so that should be low gi.

There is nothing wrong in feeling hungry though, it’s okay for your tummy to be empty, I think we are just so used to automatically responding and putting food in that we aren’t used to the feeling sometimes tbh. It can take a bit of time to adjust.

Tbh I've no idea how many calories I was consuming before I started this 😬 but I've been using an app to record since starting and am probably on around 1700 a day now.
Thank you for the food suggestions. You're right about the feeling hungry, I'm someone that's often peckish and snacks a lot, now that I'm cutting down I'm really noticing it!
