Hey...
I'm doing Slimming World and I've found it to be great. Admittedly you do have to restrict certain foods, but you can also eat piles and piles of others if you want, without limit, and still lose weight. Can you get to a class? If you can't, you can do it online, will find the website and get back to you!
I've lost 35.5 lb since I started in June, another 3 stone to go but I'll get there! Good luck, CAT me if you have any questions.

Hiya..
i've tried so many diets.. high protein, low carb you name it i've tried it and lasted only few weeks. the only one i can stick to (resonably)
is weightwatchers.. Not that i find it easy all the time.. i dont, but i find that you can have almost any food on it in moderation.
Can you get to a class at all?
thats what keeps me goin is weighin in every week
id never stick to it otherwise..
am joined 5 weeks now and have lost 11.5 lbs
have another 16.5 to go but i'll get there

I'm finding slimming world quite easy too ... I like you love cheese and bread .. unfortunately you do have to limit those (but it becomes a game) .. luckily you can have loads and loads of food without ever weighing .. like chicken and vegetables (or potatoes and beans) and fruit .. I could go on

I'm another Slimming World person! I've spoken to lots of successful slimmers with my other hat on as a journalist, and nearly every single one of them says the same thing. Whether you're doing Weight Watchers, SW, or a calorie controlled diet from an independent slimming club, it's the group support that keeps you motivated. So before you shell out your cash, find a class you know you can get to (I'd suggest you buy a copy of SW magazine, WW magazine or Slimming as the mags are often better than the websites for introductions and success stories). Best of luck!

thanks for replies. a friend had since dug me out a diet similiar to weightwatchers (but without meetings or online..meetings are impossible to get to for me) so im going to give that a go first. if i fail again (which i always do!) im going to see about slimming world.

Good luck! There is also an online version of slimming world, which you will find advertised in the mag.
