Anyone else mildly intrigued as to what's going on here that's had the NHS calculator down for at least a week now? Is there a new kind of BMI going to be announced or something?

It looks slightly cleaner in design to my eyes, and has taken out the question about exercise. I'm not sure what the other changes were - but I note that if you have a BMI between 23 and 25 and an ethnicity for which this is a diabetes risk it still shows you in the green zone but with a written caveat - I'm not sure whether that was always the case?

Interestingly the sex question remains completely bald and hasn't been "modernised". They've obviously decided that specifying "sex assigned at birth" or whatever isn't worth the hassle. It only affects the calculations for children anyway.

The other thing I noticed is that if you've got a "top end of healthy" BMI it now flags that up rather than just saying "<25 =fine"
