As the title says really I need a kick up the ass big time! My bmi was 26 to start off this pregnancy which I worked hard to get it down from 29! Up untill 20 weeks done superb I gained 3/4pounds…..weighed myself a week ago 9pound on but I KNOW it will be more after another disastrous week!

I know exactly what to do I know every trick in the book I know how to make the most of calories but I literally have zero control my cravings are too much and I’m constantly starving!

I go on holiday in a little over a week and all I’ve dreamed about is the breakfast buffet at the ai and those Spanish pancakes! So I’m thinking go enjoy holiday by which point il be back in the 3rd trimester which is when I’m thinking of clean eating for the remainder of my pregnancy?

In my mind I keep thinking I’m going on holiday so I might aswell not worry about it untill I get back but these consumptions I’m eating are absolutely ridiculous.

Ahhhhhh Help meeeeeee 😞

I know the feeling - put on 3.5 stone with my second. My appetite was out of control. I had awful sickness in the first trimester so actually lost weight then too. After that I still felt so nauseous if I didn't eat so was having 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches etc. I also craved sweet sugary things whereas I had preferred savoury before.
Sounds like you've been OK until now so hopefully it's just a short blip.
I would go and enjoy your holiday and the AI then assess things afterwards - I had awful heartburn towards the end so didn't eat as much then so who knows what's ahead (the joys of pregnancy!) It's such a short time in the grand scheme of things that I wouldn't worry too much, enjoy this time - plenty of time afterwards to get out and about with the buggy and eat healthier.
