Going on holiday next month. Looking for crash diet recommendations please.
Need simple, easy to follow plan as I'm a busy full time working mum to a toddler.
But I need to shed some weight before we go or I'll easily be mistaken for a whale on the beach!

Please help 🙏🏻

Crash dieting isn’t recommended as when you finish you’ll just revert back to old ways and the weight comes back.

eat less and move more, try to eat foods with high protein as it keeps you fuller for longer

Cut carbs. Stick to protein/fats/green veg. Fast for as long as you can (ie at least 26 hours daily)

No alcohol or sugar.

I always do this in the month before holidays and can shift at least a stone really quickly.

I second cutting down on carbs, worked for me when I had short notice of a trip.

Lots of veg and lean protein. I had eggs for breakfast so I didn’t need snacks before lunch. Spices and herbs to avoid boring meals. Drink water.

Hope you have a fab holiday.

26 hours a day fasting is certainly a very crash diet Grin

😂😂 I meant 16! Not sure how I put 26 as it’s nowhere near on the keypad!

Look up Fast 800. There's an online plan.

EmbracingTheEyeBags · 11/04/2023 08:03

26h a day I'll be dead 🤣

Thanks for the tips, I'll count my calories today and then fast for 16 and see how I get on over next few days. 🤞

The fast 800 is probably the more 'healthy' of those types of diet as you're eating real food with a focus on good fats, protein and low carb. Its also something you can adapt after the holiday as well if you felt you needed to lose more.
