Ordered the 1mg dose ozempric pen

Hey girls I’m really in need of some advice. I ended up ordering the ozempric pen but ordered the 1mg dose by mistake. Took my first 0.25mg dose yesterday. I read online that the pen is only good for 6 weeks is this true? Could I jump up to the 0.5mg dose next week so I don’t waste the pen? Just unsure what to do with it because I’ll have a lot of ozempric left over if I only take the 0.25mg dose or can only use the pen for 6 weeks.
Any advice is appreciated

The info that came with mine says 56 days once opened, which is 8 weeks. You can do a month of 0.25 then go up to 0.5 for a further 4 doses no problem.
