Hi 👋🏻

looking for a bit of reassurance if possible and some questions to be answered.

  1. I feel a bit light headed at times, is this normal?
  2. can we have alcohol while taking Ozempic?
  3. im on day 3 and having some burping, lots of bowel sounds but not really any flatulance
  4. im not hungry at all, the other threads I’ve read say that I should feel hunger still
  5. is there any evidence of diet drinks causing a fake insulin response?
thanks everyone and I hope things are going well for you all

Hi! I had my first ozempic shot on Tuesday. Had a bad headache all day Wednesday and half of Thurs but felt fine since. Definitely noticed a massive drop in appetite and feeling full after small meals. I've not snacked at all which is amazing for me. I'm so hopeful that this will work!
I've not had anything to drink since Tues but had 2 glasses of wine this eve but kind of wished I hadn't bothered just because of the empty calories - it doesn't seem to have made me feel sick or anything tho.
No idea about the diet drinks I'm afraid. I don't tend to drink them anyway, I have noticed I've been a bit more thirsty tho which I don't know if that's normal or not!

I think light-headedness is pretty normal at first tho. Some have bad symptoms for a few weeks and some have no symptoms at all from what I've looked in to.

Thanks for the replies!
I had something to eat after writing it and felt better after about half an hour, feels odd that this can work so quickly.

I’ve had a glass of Prosecco and just poured another but it’s making me feel a bit queasy so think I’ll not that on the head for now.

I had appetite suppression pretty instantly with Ozempic.

Yes to the burps and indigestion. However I found I could control these by reducing portions and changing my diet- no more fat or chocolate.

On the bigger doses the constipation is awful. But again changing diet to lots of veg, lots of fibre, whole grain helps.

I've liked that it has made me eat a much healthier diet.
