Hello,

We're off to Spain at the end of September and I want to lose 2.5st by then.

Had my youngest (and last) baby 11 months ago so now is the time to get in shape. At last weigh in I was 13st 8lb. I'm 5'7 and before starting my family I weighed 11st 4lbs. I want to get to 11st as that's where I look and feel my best. Anything below 10st 10lbs and I look scrawny and anything over 11st 7lbs, I start to look a bit chunky.

Was previously a size 12 and am now a 16. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin and can't dress my new mum bod. I spend everyday in leggings which (although comfy), doesn't make me feel good.

I want to be able to throw on a nice jumpsuit/dress/pair of shorts when on holiday and not spend my time away feeling uncomfortable and self conscious.

Anyone else trying to lose weight for a specific event? Holiday/wedding/birthday, etc. And want to join for some accountability?

Hi. I'll join in. I'm a disaster with weight, lose and gain the same 7lbs constantly. I'm same height as you. 12 stone atm. Perhaps a tad more. I'm starting Monday as we're away atm for half term. Definitely need some motivation.

Hi @CampervanKween

I'm a '10 down, 10 up' kinda gal too 🙄 4 weeks on any kinda of diet seems to be my limit, I lose all motivation at the 4 week mark and out whatnive lost back on.

I've worked out that I only need to lose 1lb a week between now and my holiday to be back at my pre-pregnancy weight. I think that's doable! I'm using MyFitnessPal to track my calorie intake as I find it a good way to keep an eye on things.

Are you planning to follow any kind of plan or are you just cutting back?

Hi. This evening I have had mum's cottage pie and beetroot. Seconds. 2 glasses of prosecco. Rubard crumble and custard. A gin and tonic. Not sure what kind of a diet you'd call that 🤔

We're on a family holiday so imagine I'll have a fair bit to lose by Monday.

I was thinking perhaps a week or 2 on Cambridge to shrink my stomach and then trying to stick more loosely to it with protein and fruit added in.
