Tasteless protein powder??

Does this exist? I struggle to eat breakfast and then start stuffing my face when the hunger hits around lunchtime. I think smoothies with protein powder might be the answer but I have always found them too sweet and synthetic tasting. Can anyone recommend a protein powder that is either tasteless or inoffensive? Not sure if it actually exists!

The purition range is great. Inoffensive flavours only slightly sweetened. I like the strawberry.

@CraigDavid thanks, just picked up a small pack to try!

I hope you enjoy it. I blend it with milk and a banana. If I'm on the go I put it in a thermos flask to keep it cold.

Ive bought some of these after reading this thread

I am hoping to have a gastric sleeve next year and have been searching the net for weeks for shakes/powders without artificial sweetners I dont know why these didnt come up

My only worry is that they say they are a 'fine chop' rather than a powder, I dont know if that makes them unsuitable for the liquid section of the recovery, 2 weeks on just liquids

Protein works Diet whey protein is unflavoured. They do a few other unflavoured ones too

My Protein do an unflavoured one too.

It all depends on what you consider as unflavoured... unflavoured whey will obviously have that slightly creamy taste that in itself is a flavour. The pea protein (which I think tastes vile) is unflavoured, it has no additives etc, but has that horribly over-pea-y flavour. Proteins made from soy can be unflavoured, but due to being soy-based often have a worse amino acid profile, can cause gynecomastia, and can be slightly detrimental in muscle gain.

I'd buy according to how you plan on consuming it. If you're mixing with just water, go for the unflavoured or more tolerable flavours like vanilla... of mixing with say oatmeal or in brownies you can afford more potent flavours.

Lol, Huel most definitely does have a flavour. It's sort if a dry beany flavour and I couldn't palate it unflavoured.

The most unflavoured protein source is definitely whey in my opinion, unless you go for natural natural products like cottage cheese.

If you earn a bazillion pounds a year there's always the pure amino acid route! Buy all 20, mix in ratios of a typical muscle according to literature and ensure you top up with vitamins and the two essential oils (linoleic and linolenic)... basically you're making your own Huel! :)
